Ever wanted to be able to make your own lip gloss? Well now it’s possible, and it’s even easy!
You will need, 1 handful of rasberries/strawberries, 1 tube of chapstick.
Follow these simple instructions to get the perfect lipgloss.
- Mash up about 5 or six rasberries or strawberries in a small bowl.
- Take out your tube of chapstick and wind it until almost all of it’s out.
- Place the chapstick and the rasberries in a bowl, mix.
- Now just place as much as needed on your lips and you’ll have a natural and moisterising lip gloss.
So gloss it up, or even better DIY it up.

You may have noticed (if you read my blog daily) that I didn’t post over the weekend. But, I didn’t post for a very good reason. It was my (woohoo!) birthday on the 28. My 4 closest friends and I had a girls only weekend at the beach in Watch Hill Rhode Island. But, to make this post more beauty related I decided to tell you about my experience with waves.
When I say waves I don’t mean the water kind, I mean the hair kind. When your swimming around in the ocean, you’re mostly thinking about if your bikini will fall off, not about your hair. But I was thinking about both. And in my head I was wondering, how am I going to get fabulous beach waves? I know that I have already written a post called, how to get perfect beach waves, but that post only tells you how to make them before you’re in the water, not after. So in this post, I’m going to tell you how to save your waves.
First, make your hair into a tight bun before you go into the water. This will keep your hair from getting soaked. That may sound crazy, but if you only go for a light swim, the middle of your bun won’t get wet. (This step is optional, but helpful) once you get out of the water, brush out your hair, but don’t use any conditioner. This will keep your hair light and bouncy, as beach waves should always be. Then simply tuck your hair behind your ears and let it do it’s own thing until dry. By tucking it behind your ears you will give it a little bit of shape, without looking too put together. The sun and wind and you moving will naturally tousle the rest of your into a wavy (but awesome) mess.
So jump in the ocean and have fun, because afterwards you know how to always make the perfect beach waves.
Comment! How was your weekend? Rainy, beachy? Or, how to you get (and keep) your beach waves? Tell!

Feeling sad? Well you shouldn’t, it’s summer! Beach days, swimming, milk
shakes, there are so many reasons to be happy! But if you are feeling sad, I know 1 way to make you happier, happy music!
Have you ever noticed that sad music is only ever popular in the winter? It’s true, in the summer most people like happier music more. So turn on the radio and crank up the volume!
Added bonus! When your happier, your prettier. No amount of makeup will ever have the same effect as a happy, smiling face.
Comment! Why are you feeling happy this summer? No school? New job? Fancy new car? Tell!
The new lipstick I’m in love with.

I know my last post had to do with another makeup (Cargo Essential Eyeshadow
Palette) but I’m really in love with this one too! It’s called Botanical Lipstick by Cargo.
It’s all natural and $2 out of each sale will go to St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital. But that’s not the only thing awesome about it. It gives great shine and sparkle and great moister. My lips are like the desert, but this lipstick made my lips like the rain forest (I know bad analogy but still… the lipstick is very moisturizing!) The shade I got was ‘Sarah’ (or ‘shimmering pink pearl’) and I think it is universaly hot on everyone, so if you wanted to to try a color, I suggest that one. There are 17 shades to choose from though, so if you don’t like that one don’t worry. The final price is $2o. But, if your willing to find a Sephora masterclass called, ‘7 in 7’ you can get it for free. I was casualy browsing Sephora when I stumbled across the class and got a sampler bag with the lipstick in it. But even if your not as lucky as me and need to pay full price, I think it is an investment you won’t regret.
1 tip to healthy hair.

Summer is like a face peel for your hair. Not fun. The heat and sun makes hair dry and
brittle. And you want to wear cute hair styles but when you do your hair turns into a disaster after words. So how can you look cute and have healthy hair? You make a slick backed ponytail.
The ponytail is extra good for your hair because you slick it back with conditioner. Just like the heat makes your hair dry, if you add conditioner it makes your hair healthy. The heat bakes in the conditioner, so when you leave it in you hair in the hot sun, it ‘bakes’ it into your hair.
To make it put a little bit of deep, heavy conditioner in your hair and then make a tight ponytail. Now, put a little conditioner in your hands and rub your hands together. Now, run your hands over your hair to slick it back a little more. Top it off with a fabulous headband and (bam!) you have a cute and good-for-your-hair hairstyle.

Summer is coming, in fact, summer is here!( It was 90 degrees were I live today, I know it was crazy!) And with summer comes sunglasses and with sunglasses comes the whispers, “what is she wearing” or just “what the…!?” and so this post is dedicated to keeping those whispers silent.
If you are going to wear colored sunglasses then make sure that they don’t match your shirt or paints, pink sunglasses and pink shorts or a pink shirt just aren’t cool. If you REALLY want to match your sunglasses with something match them with your shoes, it’s cute and totally not over the top.
If you are going for the more cool, I work at burgerking but secretly I’m a spy look, then buy the classic black sunglasses with the metal rim at the top.
And if you want the cute, come and kiss me look, then buy thick colored glasses which you can find for cheap at basicly ever clothe or accsesories store, but I recamend Claires.
This sunglasses will keep you from looking like a fool but will keep you totally cool.
Ready or Not Here Summer Comes!
