I have tons of eyeshadow, but only one eyeliner. It was really annoying because sometimes I just want maybe blue eyeliner,

or even better gold! But I didn’t want to buy an eyeliner for every time I have a different whim. So how did I fix that? A little water of course!

No didn’t drink the water, I mixed it! Just put a little dab of water on your hand, a little bit of eyeshadow, then you can either use an angle brush (if you’re lucky enough to have one!) or a colored pencil to apply to your eyelids. Don’t apply it in one big stroke though, use a bunch of short strokes to make it all the way across your lid. Just remember not to apply to your inner lids because it’s really not meant to be there, and can irritate.

So make the old, wonderfully new!

It’s hard to stay summary in the fall. You can’t wear your cute shorts, your super flattering T’s, and your gorgeous sandals, long gone. But what you can still do is wear gold eyeshadow, and after looking these pictures, staying summary isn’t the only reason you’ll want to wear it.

Rihanna looks great, but you dont have to be a pop star to look good in gold eyeshadow.

So stay summery with gold eyeshadow.

Today I went to see the 4th of July fireworks (whoohoo! I’ll tell you more about that later) and before and

Work appropreate by day, party worthy at night.

Work appropriate by day, party worthy at night.

after the fireworks children were playing with glow in the dark sticks, some were even jumping rope with them. I couldn’t resist buying one (or 2… or 4!) and to play with. But then it got me thinking, wouldn’t glow in the dark makeup be awesome? And I don’t mean a bucket of body paint that people put on at parties, I mean real, comes-in-a-compact makeup, and that is what I found for you today.

So I know that glow in the dark makeup probably reminds you of Halloween (While looking for the perfect glowing makeup I stumbled across,oh I don’t know maybe 30 glow in the dark Halloween kits. Who knew?) but these shadows are anything but childish. Plus, you can wear them in the day and no one will know! Show up to work in them, as long as the power doesn’t go out, you’ll be fine. But at the party afterwords, no one will be able to take their eyes off of you.

So forget the glowsticks and get the makeup, because you don’t need to be a child to glow in the dark.

Yesterday I went to the mall. I was cruising around Sephora when I found this,

Cargo Essential Eyeshadow Palette, or as I have named it, Smart Shadow. So what’s so special about this eyeshadow? It tells you were to put it.

Ir your like me, you are, and have always been, eyeshadowly challenged. I never know were to put , what color, or were it goes. But this eyeshadow solves all my problems. It comes with four sepreate colors that you are supposed to apply together to get ‘the look’. But what’s most amazing is that engraved into eack eyeshadow color is were to put it. So one color might be crease , and another one might be lid. Are you in love yet? I am. Plus it comes in three different palettes (warm, cool, and dark) and eack palette is $32. So it might be a little pricey, but it would definately be worth it.

Have you ever heard people say stuff like ” You can’t wear  that makeup, it doesn’t work with your eye color” or something along the lines of that? It’s not true. You can wear whatever you want, as long as you like it, it doesn’t matter.  It is true that some eyeshadows can make your eyes look greener, or bluer, or browner, but you don’t have to wear those colors. So that is one makeup myth debunked!
