Summer’s here. That means hot beach days, swimming in the pool, looking out of place because you chose the wrong makeup, that’s all included. Wait did I hear something about bad makeup? That’s got to go. So, what is good summer makeup? It’s everything that’s below.
Good summer makeup is… blue eyeliner.
Blue eyeliner is cool, oceany, and watery. To keep it looking summery apply to your top lid. Don't try to outline your whole eye, it will only make your eye look smaller, just keep it to your top lid.
Good summer makeup is…concealer.
Looking tired this summer, a definite no-no. So go buy your perfect shade of concealer and apply away, just make sure you apply sunscreen first.
Good summer makeup is… fruity lip gloss.
Summer lip gloss should be fruity, shiny, yummy, and just plain happy. So if it smells good, tastes good, and is good, it's summer approved.
Good summer makeup is… bronze eyeshadow.
Bronze eyeshadow is great. Not only is it sexy and summery, after you apply it to your eyes you can dab a little on your cheeks for bronzer.

Summer’s coming! SUMMER’S COMING! Did I mention that summer’s coming?! And in order to be ready for summer, I have gone and found perfect summer makeup.
Summer makeup must be waterproof, if not then what’s the point? The point of makeup is for it to stay on. The purpose of summer is to get wet and have fun. And the purpose of water is to wash things off, like makeup. So what’s the answer? Water proof makeup.
I love cheek stains, (1) because they go on natural, and (2) because they stay on forever. Even when you go swimming. These gorgeous blushes are called, Tarte Gel Blush. $28 for a full sized bottle. $15 for a mini.
This gorgeous foundation (MakeSense™ Foundation) is waterproof and comes in 12 different shades.
Waterproof bronze is a must for pale summer faces. A good kind to try is, Supernatural Water proof bronzer by Hour Glass. Plus (oily faced people get ready your credit cards!) it's oil free! How cool is that?
Volume exact mascara is waterproof and available in 3 different colors. Reviews say that it has more then enough lash pumping powers and is easy to remove.
The next important thing that all summer makeup should have in it is sunscreen. Make sure it’s SPF 15 or more, anything less and it doesn’t make much of a difference. But even if your makeup does have SPF in it, always wear sunscreen.
The problem with most lip glosses is that the shine reflects harmful UV rays onto your lips and then, even thought it sounds crazy, you can get lip cancer. The solution, these lip glosses with SPF. Foundation is important year-round and so is having foundation with sunscreen in it. And if it happens to be waterproof, that works too! RMK liquid foundation is both of those things and comes in 9 different shades. 5 of those yellow base, 4 of those pink base.
As you can see by my small range of products in this section there are not very many things that quallify. So, what’s my solution? Mix and match.
