Who knew that by just changing the way you applied mascara could leave you with wonderfully curled lashes.

piched your eyelid skin by accident? Not fun! And I’m sure we’ve all heard the “hot spoon against your lashes trick”, but ig ou guys are as clusmy as me, you probably don’t want to be pointing a hot spoon at your eye! Talk about an embarrising trip to the emergencey room. Plus has that tip even worked for any of you? But I have a new little tip that won’ possibly lead to you stabbing yourself in the eye, and works!

Try applying your mascara a little differently-

  1. Take the mascara brush and place it at the base of your lashes.
  2. Wiggle it a little, this will coat and reach every lash.
  3. Now twirl the brush upwards, spinning it as you go.
  4. Next, well there is not next, your done!

See wasn’t that easy? And mosly risk free? So live saftely, and with curled lashes, by just applying your mascara slightly differently.

Winter means dry. Dry skin, and worst of all, dry hair. Nothing can ruin a pretty day more then dry, brittle hair. And those fancy

salon brands? They cost all the money you’ve been saving up for gifts! But with all the dances, and parties, you neeed soft, touchable locks. But how? Just take a look inside your kitchen…

For a hair mask that works, you need an olive oil and egg yolk hair mask.

  1. Take a bottle of extra virgin olive oil, and pour 1 cup.
  2. Crack open an egg, and seperate the egg whites from the egg yolk.
  3. Whip the egg yolk with a fork, or any other utensil of your choice.
  4. Mix the egg yolk and olive oil well.
  5. Heat it up in the micro wave for 10 seconds.
  6. Apply to the scalp and work down to the ends. Apply extra on the ends because they tend to be the driest and most brittle part of your hair.
  7. Leave on for 30 minutes to an hour.
  8. Wash off thoroughly with a moisterizing shampoo.
  9. Blow dry, towl dry, or air dry, and feel the amazing softness.

Lemon juice

Squeeze the juice of a lemon into a small bowl or spoon, like seen here.

your kitchen for an easy at home facial peel!

I know your probably wondering, “what in the world can I use thats in my kitchen?!” well the answer my surprise you. Lemon juice. For some of you who are long term readers of my blog, you may remember my earlier post about lemon juice, and how it can remover stains from your nails. But this magical juice can also provide a practicly magical peel! Remeber to always start off my washing your face with warm water.

1. Take then end of lemon and squeeze its juice into a spoon. Cut a fresh slice of tomato.

2. Next dip a cotton ball or a folded peice of paper towl and dip that in the lemon juice.

3.  Apply the lemon juice all over your face

4. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off.

5. Now apply the tomato juice to sooth your skin. Leave for 20 minutes before washing off.

Now I’ going to warn you, the lemon juice stings! And if you have been picking at a pimple or have been peeling some dry skin, please don’t put the lemon on that patch of skin, I learned that the hard way!

So have clear, bright, beautiful skin, all for around 4 dolllars!

I absolutely love olive oil. It gets rid of makeup, tastes fabulous on bread, and now it even cleanses my face! I know everyone’s a little skeptical of this, I was too! I mean come on, it oil! But after like a week of research and how my skin failed to break out after I started using it as as a makeup remover, I decided to give it a try.

You don't need a fancy price tag to make your olive oil face wash work it's magic, just rub on a litte bit of extra virgin oil from your local grocier store.

The results are AMAZING. It started clearing up my skin in like 3 days. I’ve even used it as a pimple treater. I put it on at night, rub it in,  and bam, my skin looks 10 times better in the morning. Now there is one problem with olive oil. It tends not to clean my nose at all. It was like the more it cleared up my cheeks and forehead, the more icky my nose got. So how did I solve this? After I wash my face with olive oil I take all of it off and then apply a little bit of rice water to my nose. Problem solved.

Oh, and when you apply the olive oil put it on when your in the shower right after you put conditioner in your hair. Close the shower door and turn it up hot so it steams, that will help open up your pores so the olive oil can really work it’s magic and help it get rid of blackheads.

So look and feel absuloutly radient, with olive oil.

I love halloween but since I know how hard it can be to choose and how halloween tends too sneak up on you (it’s in 1 day!) I think that all you procrastinating ladies nead a break, and here it is. Oh and all these fabulous costumes? You can make them just with things you already own!

  1. Be a hippy!

Be a chic hippy, not a goof.

Take your hair and put it into a super high side ponytail, you can add a bandana if you like. Then grap any tie die shirt you have on hand (or you can make one with friends, so fun and goofy!)  add a pair of low cut  boyfriend jeans, belt them with a scarf, add a big old smile and bam, hippy alert!

      2. Be a vampire!

This picture shows the leading charcater on yet another vampire show, "vampire diaries".

With all this twilight craze vampires are H.O.T. this year, no wonder since everyone in those movies is insanely cute! But back to the point just add some thick black liner, black tights and a black or jean skirt, any pretty old top, and your a fabulous vampire.        3. Be a spy!

Just because it's cute.

Dress in all black, and some killer high heels really complete it. Add some glam 50’s  marilyn monroe makeup wouldn’t go amis either!

So don’t look like you just threw something together last minute, look glam and chic, even if you only made your costume the day  before halloween!

The other day I got some really cool belts from forever 21, and I wanted to know what I could do with them. After fiddling around for a while I realised I could make a really cool bracelet, with just a bit of tape.
Forever 21 zebra belt.

Here I'm using my new Forever 21 zebra belt. Cool, huh?

Take the 'tongue' (or whatever you want to call it) and place it under the belt loop. It may be a little difficult at first, but keeptrying and I'm sure you'll get it.

Make the whole in the middle just big enough so you can slip your wrist through and then keep wrapping. When you wrap this time pull the belt through the buckle but not the loops. Keep wrapping this way till you run out of belt.

I have tons of eyeshadow, but only one eyeliner. It was really annoying because sometimes I just want maybe blue eyeliner,

Turn your gold eyeshadow into gold eyeliner!

or even better gold! But I didn’t want to buy an eyeliner for every time I have a different whim. So how did I fix that? A little water of course!

No didn’t drink the water, I mixed it! Just put a little dab of water on your hand, a little bit of eyeshadow, then you can either use an angle brush (if you’re lucky enough to have one!) or a colored pencil to apply to your eyelids. Don’t apply it in one big stroke though, use a bunch of short strokes to make it all the way across your lid. Just remember not to apply to your inner lids because it’s really not meant to be there, and can irritate.

So make the old, wonderfully new!

Rice water as a toner, sounds crazy right? But a couple weeks ago I saw this video on youtube, and have been hooked ever since. It makes my skin smoother, softer, reduces redness, evens out my skin tone, and even helps get rid of pimples and black heads. Want to make your own magical rice water? Read more below.

I love DIY things. They’re fun to make and even funner when they work well. I love to make sugar scrubs, and toners, and lot’s of

Probably the most unexpected cleanser since bird poop.

other fabulous things, but sometimes when I feel lazy I just want an easy DIY recipe that actually works. And maybe cleans, gets rid of pimples, and softens skin too. Sound too good to be true? Just take a look instead your Refrigerator.

Not only does this wonderful drink build strong bones, it also is a great cleanser. Yep, you guessed it, I’m talking about good old fashioned milk. It’s wonderful for creating soft pimple-free skin. Try whole milk or cream for dry skin, and skim or 1% milk or oily skin. What I love about this cleanser is that I barely have to do anything to get great results. Not to mention the super cheap price.

So love your skin, and love your cleanser.
