This picture has been causing a lot of commotion, good and bad. It was a tiny picture in a magazine, yet hundreds wrote in and said they loved it. So what is this picture? I’ll give you a hint, it’s on ‘Glamour’.

This ‘Glamour’ pic has attracted people from all over the world, and the controversy is huge. Thankfully most of it is good, but in some peoples’ eyes this picture is pure evil. And where can you find this famous pic? Right below.

This picture shows 20 year old plus sized model Lizzie Miller. This is the picture that has started a huge discussion on Glamour and lots of comments. The waves this photo made were so big, the editor-in-chief and Lizzie even appeared on the ‘Today’ show to talk about it. The post on Glamour has gotten over 900 comments (isn’t that crazy?) and even more comments are still coming in. I’ll give you a couple of examples:

This woman is self-confident, sexy and classy. She put a smile on my face today. This is what a real woman looks like. She should be on the cover!!

That is one of the most wonderful magazine photos I have ever seen. I was one of the perfect girls in my 20’s. 3 babies later and 20 years later I am far from it. That young women in the photo shows all of us we are beautiful and more importantly, shows the world we are all beautiful. I agree with what she says. If you are comfortable with yourself, others will find you beautiful too……Thank you for showing what a REAL woman looks like to the rest of the world.

But alas not all the comments were nice:

Honestly, when I saw the photo in the magazine, I was turned off. I understand that women want to feel comfortable in their skin – but fitness is important. Larger waistlines equal a greater risk for illness and disease. Romanticising larger builds only contributes to poor health – and its justification. Eat the brownie onece a month, not once a week.

So, what do you think? Let me know in the comments.

All I can say is...wow!

All I can say is...wow!

Fake flashes, they’re cool till they fall off. I mean who doesn’t like them, there easy to use (sorta) they always stay put (not really) and they’re cheap.(That’s a lie.) Uh, Oh I think that maybe all those, sorta’s, not really’s, and thats a lie’s might mean there’s a problem, but hey, there cool! You’ve probable tried them before and know that they aren’t always the easiest things to use but their finished look is gorgeous, and I mean G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. But are they worth all the fuss? I took this question to my friends, to let them decide. This is my friend Cece’s answer,”Totally worth it, I would die without them!’but then there’s my friend Jenna’s point of view,”There O.K., but I need at least 20 minutes to get them perfect(she’s a false lash beginner)” So it kind of goes both ways. So what do you think, glam or scam, add comments to tell me what you think? I personally think scam. It takes forever to get them on right, they cost like 7 dollars a pair(for the goods ones), and then you have to throw them out and the end of the night, and it’s like ‘Dang, I could have bought a shirt with the money it cost me to buy those lashes!’. The perfect fix, just use mascara, it’s quick and easy, and most importantly reusable.
