Feeling like you need a pretty boost? Well I have a tip that makes your lips bigger and your eyes bigger in under 10 seconds

Just some eyeshadow here and there, and bam, you could be a model!

Just take out some gold or white eyeshadow (depending on your skin tone, if your lighter skinned go for white eyeshadow, if your skin is darker go for gold), and pat a little on your cupids bow (that part of your top lip that dips down) and the inner corners of each eye, so its touching the sides of your nose. Gasp, when did a supermodel get here! 😉

Check out the pictures of Jessica Love Hewitt below-

Heres the unedited picture of her- she looks healthy, happy, and amazingly beautiful.

And now check out the photoshopped one of her-

Here she is photoshoped. The difference is just, well... wow.

Here she is photoshopped. Still beautiful, but a lot different.

Yes I know these pictures our old but I thought I might as well share them with you, because they photoshop is just so horrendous. Just goes to show you can’t always trust what you see in magazenes or the web, whether they’re photoshoped to be skinny or overweight.

I have tons of eyeshadow, but only one eyeliner. It was really annoying because sometimes I just want maybe blue eyeliner,

Turn your gold eyeshadow into gold eyeliner!

or even better gold! But I didn’t want to buy an eyeliner for every time I have a different whim. So how did I fix that? A little water of course!

No didn’t drink the water, I mixed it! Just put a little dab of water on your hand, a little bit of eyeshadow, then you can either use an angle brush (if you’re lucky enough to have one!) or a colored pencil to apply to your eyelids. Don’t apply it in one big stroke though, use a bunch of short strokes to make it all the way across your lid. Just remember not to apply to your inner lids because it’s really not meant to be there, and can irritate.

So make the old, wonderfully new!

Doesn’t that sound cool? I found this video on YouTube the other day, and thought it was too cool not to show here. Plus no heat involved! And we all know that it’s good to give your hair a break.

I love mascara, but my problem is I want to change my looks for different days, some days natural, and some days dramatic. But my problem is I don’t want to buy a bunch of different mascaras, I just want 1. And now I do. How is that possible? Because you mascara isn’t what makes your lashes look natural or dramatic, it’s how you apply it.

To create volume, take your mascara brush and place it at the bottom lashes. Then wiggle it up and away a couple times, until you have as much or as little mascara as you want. To create length swivel your brush around until the tip is pointing towards you eye and then gently press it against the tips of lashes. I now it sounds a little dangerous for clumsier people like me, but really, it’s not very hard. And lastly, to create a natural look place the mascara wand in the middle of your lashes and gently move up.

So rock all different types of lashes, without spending a billion bucks.

Water, refreshing, fun to swim in, and good at removing nail polish.

Water, refreshing, fun to swim in, and good at removing nail polish.

I hate using nail polish remover! It smells so bad and every time I use it I seem to knock it over. So I end up removing more then nail polish (seriously, all of my tables have little finish-less patches, ew!) You can imagine how badly I wanted to find anoother way t0 remive nail polish. And then… it happened. I have always known that the thicker the coat of you nail polish the easier it is to peel it off. But my other discover was the real breakthrough. I was in my bathroom painting my nails (the only place in the house that’s nail polish remover proof) and I realized that I had messed up one of my nails. The nail polish remover was nowhere to be found so I took my troubles to the sink. I turned on the hot water  hoping it would soften up the nail polish making it easier to remove. It did! So now instead of nail polish remover I use warm water. And if warm water doesn’t work I apply one more coat of nail polish, make sure it’s very thick and gloppy, and then I stick it under some more warm water. Success!

Have you ever heard someone say, “Don’t wear sunscreen if you want to get tan!”? That’s wrong. If you don’t wear sunscreen  you will get burned.

Just spray and go for a nice healthy tan.

Just spray and go for a nice healthy tan.

Maybe there are some exceptions to this rule but those are few and far between. To get a nice, healthy tan, you should put on some some sunscreen and run around outside. So that’s one skin care myth proved wrong.

Did you never know that was a myth? Or did you pass it off as a legend long ago? Tell!

I have had this blog for slightly over two months now, and I thought it was time for a video. So rejoice this is the first ever video on this blog!

Did you notice how big the lashes were? Well I’ll let you in on a secret. Some of the time in a commercial the models selling the mascara have fake lashes on underneath! I’m not saying that this product does (Cover Girl, if you are reading this, I have no idea if you are faking it or not) but just watch out. So if you get a mascara home and it doesn’t make your lashes look nearly as big as the ones in the commercial, now you know why.
