With 2010 coming you want to look fresh and ready for a new start. So say goodbye to last years smoky eyes and orange lips, and get ready for the new looks of the future!

Strong brows.

This picture shows strong brows perfectly, and it even shows metallic eyes too!

Over plucked brows are just so blah! The look now? Think and framing.  To get perfect brows take a pencil and line it up with were your eyes stop, that is were your brow should end. Then look straight forward and line a pencil up to the end of your pupil, that is were your brow should curve. After that just fade out to a tip. Always remember to only pick stray hairs on the bottom of your brow, never the top.

Metallic eyes.

You don't have to make your metallic eyes this crazy to have them be fabulous.

The cutest new look for eyes right now is all in the metal. If you have darker skin choose a  deep gold or copper, but if you have a lighter skin tone go for silver or light  gold. One look that I like to use is a light silver on my lids and a deep gold on my crease. It makes my eyes pop!

Plum lips.

Plum lips are just oh so glamorous!

Say goodbye to boring nude and pink lips, because plum is the new thing. It’s so surprising and flattering that it will turn heads (don’t worry, I mean in a good way!). If your afraid to try it out wear it to a party first. After you see everyone’s reactions you can decide if you want to wear your purple lipstick again, or not.

Bronzed cheeks.

Rihanna looks healthy, and beautiful with her bronzed cheeks.

Bronzed, sun-kissed cheeks are all the rage with winter. Choose a shimmery one 2 shades darker then your natural skin tone to keep from looking like a clown. To apply it right sweep it up from the side of your nose up to the sides of your cheek bones.

So look absolutely stunning this new year, with these fabulous new looks.

Want beautiful, clear, soft, subtle skin? Try an at home facial steam!

be carefull not to get too close, 8 inches is how far your face should be from the steam.

  1. Get a bowl of steaming hot water from the tap.
  2. Squeeze in a couple drops of lemon juice.
  3. Place a towl over your head to catch the steam.
  4. Let the steam do it’s work fro 10 minutes.
  5. Wash your face and then splash it with cold water.

Facial steams are good because they open up your pours. When your pours are opened up all the dirt and oil that cuases pimples and blackheads can come out easier, and so when you wash your face after the steam, your really just washing away all the impurites in your skin. And the lemon you put in? That helps to get rid of scars and erase blackheads. The only problem with these steams is that becuase they open your pours so much they can be very drying, so only do one once every 1 or 2 weeks.

So get a beautifully clear skin with a facial steam!

Want clearer, brighter, more fabulous skin? Don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on fancy chemical peels? Just look inside

Lemon juice

Squeeze the juice of a lemon into a small bowl or spoon, like seen here.

your kitchen for an easy at home facial peel!

I know your probably wondering, “what in the world can I use thats in my kitchen?!” well the answer my surprise you. Lemon juice. For some of you who are long term readers of my blog, you may remember my earlier post about lemon juice, and how it can remover stains from your nails. But this magical juice can also provide a practicly magical peel! Remeber to always start off my washing your face with warm water.

1. Take then end of lemon and squeeze its juice into a spoon. Cut a fresh slice of tomato.

2. Next dip a cotton ball or a folded peice of paper towl and dip that in the lemon juice.

3.  Apply the lemon juice all over your face

4. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off.

5. Now apply the tomato juice to sooth your skin. Leave for 20 minutes before washing off.

Now I’ going to warn you, the lemon juice stings! And if you have been picking at a pimple or have been peeling some dry skin, please don’t put the lemon on that patch of skin, I learned that the hard way!

So have clear, bright, beautiful skin, all for around 4 dolllars!

I hate when I  get a pimple, it’s one of the most annoying, confidence-busting things in the world. It makes me

Fake beautiful skin with foundation and concealer.

self conscious and instantly brings me down. What makes it worse is that I can’t figure out how to hide the little sucker, well, not until now.

Here are the easy steps

  1. Wash your face with warm water, not hot, that will only irritate the pimple.
  2. Rub heated extra virgin olive oil in to your skin for a few minutes
  3. Wash off the extra virgin olive oil and dab (not scrub!) your face dry with a clean towl or paper towl.
  4. Next take some oil free moisteriser and apply it ont the blemish.
  5. Cover the blemish in oil free foundation.
  6. After apply concealer with a pointed brush. If you don’t have one apply with a clean finger tip.
  7. Keep applying foundation and concealer until the blemish is covered. Remember, try not to over apply, chances are no one else notices except for you.

So if you don’t have beautiful clear skin, fake it with a little foundation.

I absolutely love olive oil. It gets rid of makeup, tastes fabulous on bread, and now it even cleanses my face! I know everyone’s a little skeptical of this, I was too! I mean come on, it oil! But after like a week of research and how my skin failed to break out after I started using it as as a makeup remover, I decided to give it a try.

You don't need a fancy price tag to make your olive oil face wash work it's magic, just rub on a litte bit of extra virgin oil from your local grocier store.

The results are AMAZING. It started clearing up my skin in like 3 days. I’ve even used it as a pimple treater. I put it on at night, rub it in,  and bam, my skin looks 10 times better in the morning. Now there is one problem with olive oil. It tends not to clean my nose at all. It was like the more it cleared up my cheeks and forehead, the more icky my nose got. So how did I solve this? After I wash my face with olive oil I take all of it off and then apply a little bit of rice water to my nose. Problem solved.

Oh, and when you apply the olive oil put it on when your in the shower right after you put conditioner in your hair. Close the shower door and turn it up hot so it steams, that will help open up your pores so the olive oil can really work it’s magic and help it get rid of blackheads.

So look and feel absuloutly radient, with olive oil.

Olive oil, dip bread in it, cook things in it, make salad dressing out of it, … use it to remove your makeup?

Not only is olive oil yummy, its also a great makeup remover.

Not only is olive oil yummy, it's also a great makeup remover.

Yes it’s true, olive oil does remove makeup wonderfully, better then my cleanser, and warm water. But won’t it clog your pores and make you break out? I mean it is oil. Surprisingly, it doesn’t, well as long as you wash it off. Just use it before you wash your face every night, rub it in a little, then wash it off with your favorite cleanser. Tada beautiful skin, in fact I think the olive oil might even be making my skin better. Yes the oil is making my skin softer, and tons more radiant.

So wash off all that makeup, and let your skin glow.

Rice water as a toner, sounds crazy right? But a couple weeks ago I saw this video on youtube, and have been hooked ever since.
