Eyeliner. Sounds so simple right? Not really. There are so many different types. There’s liquid eyeliner, eyeliner pencil, and eyeliner pens. Suddenly ‘eyeliner’ doesn’t seem so simple. So how do you choose the right type of eyeliner for you? You keep reading.

Liquid eyeliner.

Out of all the different types of eyeliner, liquid liner goes on the thinnest. That means if you want thin, close to the lash eyeliner, liquid eyeliner is for you. While it goes on thin liquid eyeliner is the hardest to apply then all eyeliners.  Thin, close to the lash eyeliner is good for work and school because it can look very natural. But it can also have a very dramatic look if you wing it out. Liquid eyeliner also comes in a wide range of colors.  So if you want a versatile eyeliner, liquid eyeliner is for you.

llllll.

Here's an example of liquid eyeliner.

Eyeliner pens.

Eyeliner pens can also go on very thin. Not as thin as liquid eyeliner, but close. Eyeliner pens are also easier to control (and apply) then liquid eyeliner, so eyeliner pens are good for beginners or clumsier people (like myself *drops priceless vase*). I find that eyeliner pens give me a more intense look and color then any other type of eyeliner, so eyeliner pens are best for parties, not school or work. Liquid eyeliners also come in a wide range of colors, but are harder to find then any other type of eyeliner. So if you want an easy to control and manage eyeliner, an eyeliner pen is the best for you.

Eyeliner pencils.

Eyeliner pencils are the easiest to use of all the eyeliners. While being easy to apply, they are not precise and give only medium to thick lines. Eyeliner pencils are the most common type of eyeliner an come in a beyond wide range of colors. So if you want a common, easy to use eyeliner, eyeliner pencils are the best for you.

So, now you can decide what type of eyeliner is best for you.

Eyeliner, everybody loves it, everybody uses it, not everybody looks good in it. And I’m here to take the ‘not’ out of that sentence, because the only reason that people don’t look good in eyeliner is because they apply it wrong. And that has just got to change.

First of all NEVER ever apply eyeliner to your inner eyelids, it instantly makes your eyes look 2 times smaller.

Never apply eyeliner to your inner eyelid, it makes your eyes look small and if you share you eyeliner with friends after using it that way, you may transmit deseises.

Next, to avoid tiny-eye syndrome only apply eyeliner to the top lashes, and if you do apply it to the bottom lashes never apply the eyeliner all the way to the end of your lash line, just apply it to the middle.

To keep it simple and chic (not to mention big-eyed) only apply eyeliner to the top lids.

Black eyeliner’s great but it can be a little to sexy for day, so for day keep your eyeliner deep chocolate brown.

Now, summer is about being bright and happy and, of course, water. Summer’s all about swimming and going to the beach, so what a better way to show your summer-y-ness then blue eyeliner?

Blue eyeliner is summery and shimmery, its perfect for the beach or pool. Just make sure its waterproof.
