Pink, a hot new summer nail color!

I know I have a lot of post about hot new summer nail colors but this is one is really a must. It’s called (cue scary music)…pink.
Yes, I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking about how it’s just boring old pink and you want something with a little more edge, like silver. But pink can be edgy and fabulous, if you wear it right, and here is one new way to wear it.
- If you want edgy, wear it bright. Like neon bright. Apply 2 coats to make sure it the color is strong enough.
If Rhianna, the queen of edgy and fierce wears pink, you know that it must be fabulous.
Try insta-dri nail polish in hot pink. Not only is it an awesome color, it dries in 60 seconds. This might need deserve a whole other post.
Added bonus, hot pink looks great on short nails, so even if your nails are itty bitty (um me!) you can still wear pink.
So get fierce, get edgy, get fabulous, get pink.

Here’s a half baked!
So, you’ve probably already read my other new nail polish post about brown nail polish. But this color is different, this color is h-h-hot! This is orange nail polish.
Shade 1
There are many different shades of orange nail polish, but I think this shade is one of the best. It practically glows!
Shade 2
I also love this shade. I'm a sucker for pinks, so this is no surprise.
Shade 3
I love how orange nail polish is a Camelion. Shade 2 was light and pretty, while this shade is dark and smooth. Love it!
Shade 4
And the world wouldn't be the same without neon orange nails (and the lovely lady Rihanna wearing them!)
So, the next time you go buy nail polish grab an orange (or 2… or 4!) and try it! I guarantee you’ll love it!

Long Nails, Hot or Not?

Long red nails, shaped to perfection, does that give you the image of a beauty queen, or a scary grandma? I think that image can change, depending on how the nails are done.
If there like long bird talons, like these, then I would say no, long nails are a not.
They're long, the they're black, and they're down right scary.
But these cute cute pink nails are ( h-h-h-…) hot!
These nails are not as long as the black ones and avoided the creepy grandma danger zone by not going with a bright red, black, or dark brown. (dark brown, ew!)
Once again, a total not.
The color, nice, the manicure, nice, the length, just plain scary.
But this long french manicure is back in the hot zone.
This manicure may be long, but it is so gorgeous that not even length can make it old ladyish.
My suggestion, keep ’em short. The longer they are the easier it is to have them go wrong. But if you do grow yours out, try painting them a light color like pink or white. So long nails hot or not? They’re more not then hot.
