Hate when your applying mascara and then -whoops!- you slip and
get mascara under your eye? Don’t rush to clean it up just yet, it turns out waiting a little bit can help.
When mascara is still wet trying to get it off your skin can just make it worse, it can smudge it everywhere! But once mascara is dry it becomes flacky and by just rubbing it with your sleeve (that’s what i dp for quick public fix-ups) it easly comes off.
So keep your skin mascara free, with this little tip.

So you walk in to Sephora, all excited, and you find… 40 dollar lipgloss. WHAT? You can’t believe
your eyes! I mean 40 dollars for a lipgloss!? You walk out of the store, your head drooping, defeated. Sound like you? I know I’ve been surprised by the mind blowing prices in that store. But lipgloss is neccesary in the winter monthes, not only to keep you looking fly, but to keep your lips soft and smooth. So were do you find the best affordable lipgloss? Let’s take a walk in your local Walgreens.
Yesterday I headed down to Walgreens to get a new shampoo and conditioner, but decided I needed a new lipgloss while I was down there. I walked past the rows of covergirl, maybeline, and Lorreal, all the lipglosses were still to pricey! And then in a little rack with the big words “DEAL ALERT!” on it, I thought I might have found the one. I looked down and discovered “Squeeze’ n Shine” by jordana, for $1.99. Why not, I thought? 10 minutes later I was driving home and took off the cap to smell the lipgloss. YUM! It smelled just like candy! And it even tasted good, not nasty and sour tasting like other lipglosses can be. I think I met have found the most perfect lipgloss ever!
So shine this winter with super tasy, super shiny, super cheap lipgloss!

Lash curlers can be a real hassle. They can cost tons of money (seriously, who needs a gold plaited lash curler!?), and have you ever
piched your eyelid skin by accident? Not fun! And I’m sure we’ve all heard the “hot spoon against your lashes trick”, but ig ou guys are as clusmy as me, you probably don’t want to be pointing a hot spoon at your eye! Talk about an embarrising trip to the emergencey room. Plus has that tip even worked for any of you? But I have a new little tip that won’ possibly lead to you stabbing yourself in the eye, and works!
Try applying your mascara a little differently-
- Take the mascara brush and place it at the base of your lashes.
- Wiggle it a little, this will coat and reach every lash.
- Now twirl the brush upwards, spinning it as you go.
- Next, well there is not next, your done!
See wasn’t that easy? And mosly risk free? So live saftely, and with curled lashes, by just applying your mascara slightly differently.

I hate when I get a pimple, it’s one of the most annoying, confidence-busting things in the world. It makes me
self conscious and instantly brings me down. What makes it worse is that I can’t figure out how to hide the little sucker, well, not until now.
Here are the easy steps
- Wash your face with warm water, not hot, that will only irritate the pimple.
- Rub heated extra virgin olive oil in to your skin for a few minutes
- Wash off the extra virgin olive oil and dab (not scrub!) your face dry with a clean towl or paper towl.
- Next take some oil free moisteriser and apply it ont the blemish.
- Cover the blemish in oil free foundation.
- After apply concealer with a pointed brush. If you don’t have one apply with a clean finger tip.
- Keep applying foundation and concealer until the blemish is covered. Remember, try not to over apply, chances are no one else notices except for you.
So if you don’t have beautiful clear skin, fake it with a little foundation.

Feeling like you need a pretty boost? Well I have a tip that makes your lips bigger and your eyes bigger in under 10 seconds
Just take out some gold or white eyeshadow (depending on your skin tone, if your lighter skinned go for white eyeshadow, if your skin is darker go for gold), and pat a little on your cupids bow (that part of your top lip that dips down) and the inner corners of each eye, so its touching the sides of your nose. Gasp, when did a supermodel get here! 😉
Really quick halloween ideas!
Posted October 31, 2009
on:I love halloween but since I know how hard it can be to choose and how halloween tends too sneak up on you (it’s in 1 day!) I think that all you procrastinating ladies nead a break, and here it is. Oh and all these fabulous costumes? You can make them just with things you already own!
- Be a hippy!
Take your hair and put it into a super high side ponytail, you can add a bandana if you like. Then grap any tie die shirt you have on hand (or you can make one with friends, so fun and goofy!) add a pair of low cut boyfriend jeans, belt them with a scarf, add a big old smile and bam, hippy alert!
2. Be a vampire!
With all this twilight craze vampires are H.O.T. this year, no wonder since everyone in those movies is insanely cute! But back to the point just add some thick black liner, black tights and a black or jean skirt, any pretty old top, and your a fabulous vampire. To see a more desribtive video by the amazing Michelle Phan click here.
3. Be a spy!
Dress in all black, and some killer high heels really complete it. Add some glam 50’s marilyn monroe makeup wouldn’t go amis either!
So don’t look like you just threw something together last minute, look glam and chic, even if you only made your costume the day before halloween!
