Olive oil… face wash.

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: November 7, 2009

I absolutely love olive oil. It gets rid of makeup, tastes fabulous on bread, and now it even cleanses my face! I know everyone’s a little skeptical of this, I was too! I mean come on, it oil! But after like a week of research and how my skin failed to break out after I started using it as as a makeup remover, I decided to give it a try.

You don't need a fancy price tag to make your olive oil face wash work it's magic, just rub on a litte bit of extra virgin oil from your local grocier store.

The results are AMAZING. It started clearing up my skin in like 3 days. I’ve even used it as a pimple treater. I put it on at night, rub it in,  and bam, my skin looks 10 times better in the morning. Now there is one problem with olive oil. It tends not to clean my nose at all. It was like the more it cleared up my cheeks and forehead, the more icky my nose got. So how did I solve this? After I wash my face with olive oil I take all of it off and then apply a little bit of rice water to my nose. Problem solved.

Oh, and when you apply the olive oil put it on when your in the shower right after you put conditioner in your hair. Close the shower door and turn it up hot so it steams, that will help open up your pores so the olive oil can really work it’s magic and help it get rid of blackheads.

So look and feel absuloutly radient, with olive oil.

Crazy shoes

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: November 5, 2009

There are so many normal boring shoes around, like black pumps, red stilettos, the norm. So I’ve dedicated this post to all the crazy shoes of this world.

Cr-cr-crazy!

Um... ouch.

I want to try walking in these, it would feel so weird!

Wow, these shoes are like sexy times a million!

Guess who was spotted wearing these shoes? None other then Marion Cotillard, that is.

So rock your crazy shoes, because they’re so in this year.

New nail polish color I’m in love with, dark purple

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: November 1, 2009

Summer nail polish colors are all about being bright and perky, with neon oranges and hot pinks. But in the winter time you can match some of your new darker nail colors with you darker wardrobe, and here’s a dark nail polish that I’m especially fond of.

Another thing I love about dark nail polish is that it looks good on short and long nails.

So dive head first into the winter monthes with 1 of this season’s hottest nail colors, dark purple.

Really quick halloween ideas!

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: October 31, 2009

I love halloween but since I know how hard it can be to choose and how halloween tends too sneak up on you (it’s in 1 day!) I think that all you procrastinating ladies nead a break, and here it is. Oh and all these fabulous costumes? You can make them just with things you already own!

  1. Be a hippy!

Be a chic hippy, not a goof.

Take your hair and put it into a super high side ponytail, you can add a bandana if you like. Then grap any tie die shirt you have on hand (or you can make one with friends, so fun and goofy!)  add a pair of low cut  boyfriend jeans, belt them with a scarf, add a big old smile and bam, hippy alert!

      2. Be a vampire!

This picture shows the leading charcater on yet another vampire show, "vampire diaries".

With all this twilight craze vampires are H.O.T. this year, no wonder since everyone in those movies is insanely cute! But back to the point just add some thick black liner, black tights and a black or jean skirt, any pretty old top, and your a fabulous vampire. To see a more desribtive video by the amazing Michelle Phan click here.

       3. Be a spy!

Just because it's cute.

Dress in all black, and some killer high heels really complete it. Add some glam 50’s  marilyn monroe makeup wouldn’t go amis either!

So don’t look like you just threw something together last minute, look glam and chic, even if you only made your costume the day  before halloween!

I have this shirt, and I get more compliments ever time I wear it!

Here's the unedited picture of her- she looks healthy, happy, and amazingly beautiful.

And now check out the photoshopped one of her-

Here she is photoshoped. The difference is just, well... wow.

Here she is photoshopped. Still beautiful, but a lot different.

Yes I know these pictures our old but I thought I might as well share them with you, because they photoshop is just so horrendous. Just goes to show you can’t always trust what you see in magazenes or the web, whether they’re photoshoped to be skinny or overweight.

How to make a bracelet, out of a belt.

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: October 20, 2009

The other day I got some really cool belts from forever 21, and I wanted to know what I could do with them. After fiddling around for a while I realised I could make a really cool bracelet, with just a bit of tape.
Forever 21 zebra belt.

Here I'm using my new Forever 21 zebra belt. Cool, huh?

Take the 'tongue' (or whatever you want to call it) and place it under the belt loop. It may be a little difficult at first, but keeptrying and I'm sure you'll get it.

Take the belt and push it threw the belt buckle and loop. It may be hard to push the belt threw the loops, but keep trying, you'll get it threw.

Make the whole in the middle just big enough so you can slip your wrist through and then keep wrapping. When you wrap this time pull the belt through the buckle but not the loops. Keep wrapping this way till you run out of belt.

All natural makeup remover, olive oil.

Posted by: the1and2and3 on: October 17, 2009

Olive oil, dip bread in it, cook things in it, make salad dressing out of it, … use it to remove your makeup?

Not only is olive oil yummy, its also a great makeup remover.

Not only is olive oil yummy, it's also a great makeup remover.

Yes it’s true, olive oil does remove makeup wonderfully, better then my cleanser, and warm water. But won’t it clog your pores and make you break out? I mean it is oil. Surprisingly, it doesn’t, well as long as you wash it off. Just use it before you wash your face every night, rub it in a little, then wash it off with your favorite cleanser. Tada beautiful skin, in fact I think the olive oil might even be making my skin better. Yes the oil is making my skin softer, and tons more radiant.

So wash off all that makeup, and let your skin glow.
