If all these stars are rocking the nude lip, why cant you

The nude lip is tricky. It tricks you into thinking you don’t have to do anything to it, like you should just leave it nude. But that is not the case. Getting the nude lip is actually just as complicated as any other lip color. But how do you get the perfect nude lip? If it doesn’t involve lip lining or anything else like that, how is it so complicated? Well, you see, if you want a great nude lip, your lips need to look great.

  • First of all you need to get your lips smooth. If your lips are chapped or cracked, then anything else you do after this wont make much of a difference, your lips will still look bad. To get them smooth, take your toothbrush and rub it on your lips. This gently exfoliates without being to harsh.
  • Secondly, you need to get your lips soft and moisturized. the first step makes your lips smooth and soft, but if you want them to stay smooth and soft, you need to apply some chap stick.
  • Now this is the most complicated and most important of all the steps. Up till now your lips have been they’re natural color, pink. They may have even gotten darker because of the exfoliation. But you don’t want them to be pink, you want them too be just slightly pinker then the rest of your face. To make them like that, blend a little bit of your liquid foundation onto your lips. Make sure your lips are just a bit pink, or it will look like you don’t have lips at all (trust me, been there, done that, not fun.)
  • This step is optional but I think it really tops the nude lip off. Swipe a little bit of clear lip gloss onto you lower lip. Blend and then kiss your hand to get off any excess. Now your lips will be just a bit glossy, and just a bit prettier.
  • Look in the mirror and gawk at your awesomeness.

So, do you still think the nude lip is the simplest of all lip looks? Thought so.
